When we started Cultivating Conversations Coffee Club, the idea was simple: create a space where people could put their phones down, sit across from someone new, and have a conversation that actually meant something.
What we didn’t expect was how many of you would ask us to bring it to your city.
As a small team, we can only be in so many places at once. Our seasonal Coffee Clubs will continue to bring our community together in high-demand cities around the world, but we kept thinking about all the places we haven’t been able to reach yet. And then we realized, maybe we don’t have to be the ones to bring Coffee Club there. Maybe you do.
Local Coffee Club puts the experience in the hands of our community. You choose a coffee shop you love, pick a morning, and host a small group of people in your own city. We’ll give you the tools and support to make it feel like Coffee Club, while you make it feel like home.
I know that so many of us everywhere are craving deeper, more genuine connection. Sometimes all it takes is one person willing to create the space for it.

As a small team with a deep passion for bringing people together, we’ve always dreamed of bringing Coffee Club to more cities. Until now, our seasonal Cultivating Conversations Coffee Clubs have primarily taken place in larger cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Our new Local Coffee Club initiative opens the door for these conversations to happen in communities everywhere.
Our brand-led Cultivating Conversations Coffee Clubs are curated by us from start to finish. We choose the city, select the coffee shop, reserve the space, and bring the community together.
Our Local Coffee Clubs are created by you, with our support along the way. You choose a coffee shop you love and a date that works for you, and we give you the tools and guidance to bring Coffee Club to your own community.

Choose a coffee shop and a date, invite a few people you think would love it, and show up to host. We handle the tickets, supplies, shipping, and help bring people in your city to your club.
No. You'll want a few people you're confident will come, but filling the club isn't all on you. When applying you can open your club to our community, and we’ll help bring people in your city to it.
No. Hosting is free. We ship you everything the club needs, and you keep your own Open Journal, Reflection Pen, and Coffee Club Tote, plus the Cultivating Conversations Card Deck, as our thank you.
No. You don’t need to be an influencer, just someone who cares about genuine connection and has a few friends who'd love to come.
That's completely fine. If you're accepted, we'll send detailed hosting instructions so you feel confident from the beginning. Your only real job is to show up and be yourself.
Our team reads every application and we'll be in touch if your club is a good fit. We are being mindful about how we grow the club to make sure each one meets our expectations for everyone attending.
A minimum of 3 guests and a maximum of 7, so up to 8 total including yourself. If a club doesn't reach 3 guests, we'll cancel it and take care of the refunds.
Yes. Every guest fills out a short survey when they reserve their spot, and we send you the full guest list before your club, so you'll know exactly who's attending.
Yes. If you already have a group, you can select to keep your club private in the application and share it with just your circle.
$50 per guest. Coffee isn't included, so guests grab their own drink when they arrive.
As the host, your ticket is free.
Each guest receives an Open Journal in Espresso, Reflection Pen, the exclusive Coffee Club Tote, and the opportunity to meet or deepen their relationship with like-minded friends in their city. We'll ship you all of the supplies once the number of guests for your club has been finalized.
Local Coffee Clubs happen on Saturdays and Sundays, but you choose the exact date and time. If you're hosting privately with your own group, you can choose any day and time that works for you.
The club is a 1.5 hour experience. The first 30 minutes is for ordering drinks and meeting each other. The remaining hour is reserved for game play.
Since there's no reserved seating like our Seasonal Coffee Clubs, you can continue the conversations for as long as you'd like past the 1.5 hour event.
At your go-to local coffee shop. There's no reservation to make. Everyone shows up and orders their own coffee.
You gather at the coffee shop, grab your drinks, and let the Cultivating Conversations Card Deck guide the conversation. The cards turn quick introductions into deep connections.
We're starting in the US, but we'd still love your application even if you're based somewhere else. Our goal is to expand Local Coffee Club to cities across the world. Your application will help us decide which country to expand to next.
