Creative flow is something that I don't take lightly. It's something that I am working on everyday and constantly analyzing my performance within. Some days I rely too heavily on caffeine as a sort of inspiration injection while other days I am good about keeping phone on do not disturb. This month I experienced that when I am practicing gratitude, flow comes more organically. To say that another way, when I'm turning my energy towards appreciating the little (or big) things in my day, it doesn't feel as forced to just be me. When I get out of my head, away from the "what if's" and instead focus on the "right now's", a lightness comes over me that allows me to walk alongside my inspired self. This is why a simple gratitude practice is incorporated into of most of our tools. Practicing gratitude is something that we all know we should do, but I'm here to remind you that it actually does make a difference. As you sit down with this month's journal prompts, I encourage you to notice the little details. The setting you are journaling in, the pen you are holding, the sounds around you. Create space to be grateful and it will change your whole perspective.
