Each year, no matter where I am in my life, March always embodies this sense of cleansing. The pairing of being a few months into the year along with the fresh beginning that Spring brings offers this delicate feeling of renewal. It's different than the start of a new year, but energizes me in the same way. Creating the life that you want to live is all about the small moments. It's the micro-decisions of your day that layer on top of each other to form your reality. We romanticize the big moments – quitting the job you've been unhappy in or traveling to the place you've always wanted to go, but those big moments happen because of the small moments leading to that big destination. For me, the small moment of showing up to process my thoughts through journaling has carved a path from my inner world into my outer world. Page by page, I start to find clarity where it didn't exist before. That clarity forms into confidence where I start making decisions that seemed too challenging before. Even in the days that I feel like nothing is happening and my practice isn't worth the time, I look back on those pages and see how just the simple act of showing up for myself – saying I'm worth the time – is what has led me to where I've wanted to go. As you sit down with this month's journal prompts, I encourage you to take your time. To give yourself the space to lean into this small moment of journaling, knowing that this micro-moment is another important layer in your evolution.
Reflect back on the month through prompts designed to find confidence in expression and optimism towards what is ahead.
